Lose yourself in endless summer nights
The highlight of the festival are its evening milongas. A glorious celebration of tango with performances of our festival maestros and countless hours of dancing – until the golden sunrise finds its way to the dance-floor. All this on the finest wooden dance floor in the world – period.
Workshops
Join your fellow tangueros, equally eager to learn, in beautiful and air-conditioned rooms as you refine your tango under the attentive guidance of the world’s finest teachers. Embrace the opportunity to discover the best tango within you.
Afternoon open-air milogas
For your afternoon dose of tango and Vitamin D, Hotel Rubin outdoor pool hosts our daily open-air milongas. So take your dance shoes (or your flip-flops) and your favorite sunscreen for the hottest afternoon tango.
Arts and Wine tour
Traveling far to visit Istrian peninsula for a tango festival is all good and well, but leaving Istria without having tasted its local delicacies and seeing the beautiful inland roads and vineyards with lovely picturesque towns would really be a shame. Arts and Wine is a really nice way to spend an afternoon with your fellow tangueros exploring the Croatian Tuscany – as Istria is often called by tourists from around the world.
The legendary Boat Trip
After so many years the famous Boat Trip is a phenomenon – 200 people, 1 boat with a dance-floor, sexy summer dance hits, great food, lot’s of cocktails and the tickets are the first one gone when online registration opens. The lovely Sunday 6-hour tango detox always attracts a crowd. As of 2025 we are introducing a new DJ for our Boat Trip and we return to the beautiful town of Rovinj as our stop of the afternoon.
